Emily Kearney

Allied Health Manager, Therapy and Behaviour Support (TABS)

Originally from Port Macquarie, Emily studied at the University of Newcastle and graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology in 2009.

She went on to work clinically as a speech pathologist at public hospitals in Port Macquarie, Melbourne and here in Newcastle for the next 10 years, before
a stint as a Coordinator of Support with the Motor Neurone Disease association with New South Wales.

Emily has spent the last four years working as the Clinical Manager of the Speech Pathology and Dietetics Team at Community Therapy, a mobile allied health provider servicing older adults and those living with disabilities across Newcastle, the Hunter, Port Stephens, and the Central Coast.

It was in this role where she developed a love of allied health leadership and management.

She says that supporting clinicians to provide high quality allied health services to our community has been a truly rewarding experience.

Outside of work, Emily is also a proud mum of three very active primary school aged kids.

So, when she’s not working, she is usually trying her best to keep up with them!

Ann McAlister

Director NDIS

Ann has returned to Newcastle after over 20 years living in Orange to join the Newcastle Anglican/Samaritans team.

She started her early career in aged care, progressed into hospital management and for the past 8 years has worked with not- for- profit providers across NDIS, mental health and community care sectors.

Ann is passionate about change management with a strong focus on high quality, best practice and person-centred care.

She holds a Masters in Management, a Graduate Certificate in Critical Care and a Bachelor of Nursing.

Ann is thrilled to be back by the coast and is looking forward to exploring Newcastle’s best restaurants.

I’m excited to be joining the team as a Business Analyst!

For over a decade, I’ve worked in IT with over seven years of Business Analyst experience, having worked across education, safety and compliance, mining and logistics, spanning both project and product-focused roles.

I’m known for being collaborative, curious, and enjoy partnering with stakeholders to uncover the ‘why’ behind requests.

I’m always seeking process improvement opportunities and challenging assumptions to help shape practical, customer-centred solutions that deliver meaningful outcomes.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me working out, spending time in nature or relaxing with my family, friends, husband and cats.

Ashleigh Cameron

Customer Engagement Specialist

Ashley has recently joined the Customer Engagement Team and is excited to be part of such a welcoming community.

Her background is in sales and customer service, so she enjoys connecting with people and finding ways to make their experience a great one.

When she’s not at work, life is full on with her big family keeping her on my toes!

Ashleigh is also a huge foodie—she loves trying new recipes at home, exploring restaurants, and discovering hidden culinary gems around town.

She is looking forward to getting to know everyone and contributing to the team in any way she can.

Michell Ncube

Senior Financial Accountant
