Welcome our new starters
Michael Murphy – Customer Engagement Specialist (started 15/9)
Hi, I’m Michael. I have worked in pharmacy for 20 years in various roles and decided it was time for a change and to utilise my skills in a new setting.
The Customer Engagement Specialist role at Anglican Care seems like a perfect fit. It will be nice to be able to be the first person people may talk to in the organisation and I'll do my best to point them in the right direction.
I enjoy movies, reading, bushwalking, looking at cars, and playing with my Miniature Schnauzer Annie.
Lara Scott – Executive Director Quality & Risk (started 19/9)
Lara’s passion is safeguarding.
For more than two decades, she has built a career around protecting human rights and elevating the safety, dignity and voice of children, people with disability, aged care residents, refugees, and survivors of abuse.
Her work spans the UN, multiple royal commissions, and frontline humanitarian crises.
Lara is from Sydney and is looking forward to a sea change with her 14-year-old daughter Jade and Shoodle (Shih Tzu x Poodle) Lulu, who loves jumping through the water on dog-friendly beaches.
Laura Puppe, Contracts & Procurement Manager (starting 27/10)
Laura is an experienced and highly skilled procurement lead with expertise in strategic procurement and organisational transformation.
She holds a master’s degree in business administration majoring in finance and has more than 10 years' experience across various industries such as mining, banking, industrial engineering and strategy consulting in Europe and Australia.
Laura is passionate about creating sustainable outcomes with a whole-of-organisation mindset.
Outside of work, you can find Laura chasing the sunrise over Newcastle with her camera, reading a good book, or planning her next travels.
Danielle Bellamy, Talent Acquisition Specialist (starting 13/10)
I am a proud mum of four energetic boys who keep life busy and fun.
This year marks 20 years of working in the disability sector, a journey that has taken me from being a support worker through to managing a NDIS service.
Along the way, I have gained extensive experience in business development, training and recruitment, and I am passionate about supporting both individuals and teams to grow and succeed.
Outside of work, I love walking, getting outdoors, and making the most of my time with my boys - and I love coffee!
I am really excited to be joining the Newcastle Anglican team and look forward to contributing my experience and energy.
