Celebrating Aged Care Employee Day

Tino goes above and beyond and leads by example. Another special mention is her most recent acceptance of permanent residency in Australia.
Ashley Mason – Earlier this month, in her own time, Ashley bought and put flowers on the grave of a resident’s deceased husband (with the resident’s permission) and took a photo on what would have been his 99th birthday.
Our resident, who is immobile and unable to attend the grave herself, and her family were thrilled with Ashley’s gesture. The family sent a lovely thank you email.
It read: Just a short email to express our family’s gratitude and appreciation for the kind act to celebrate our late father's birthday (Jean's husband Lance).
Mum said that someone, most likely you, provided flowers which were placed on dad’s grave by one of the girls, who then took a photo for mum.
The thoughtfulness and empathy was just beautiful, so please accept mine, mum's, and the family’s extreme gratitude for the kindest of gestures, so greatly appreciated. Please convey our thanks to the girl/lady who performed the action and provided the photo.
